Feeding the mind with positive thoughts



An excerpt taken from LAYoga magazine, June 08 issue:

" Food is one of the most important ways that we feed ourselves, but it is far from the only one. Time spent in nature, in or by the ocean, smelling blooming roses, watching dance, spending time in the company of supportive people, finding sanctuary, doing good work, and listening to music are only a few other ways we nourish body, mind, emotions and spirit. "

" Throughout your day, let every meal, whether it be food, practice, sitting with friends, work or expressing love, let every sensation be a feast for the senses and the soul. "

" Our family, nuclear, extended and chosen(through our friends and community) is a source of nourishment for us all.
